The bodies of thirteen Egyptian fishermen have been retrieved from the Gulf of Suez, with thirteen still missing after their fishing boat “Badr” collided with a Panama-flagged cargo ship early Sunday, December 14, according to Al-Arabiya News.
The cargo ship that hit the fishing boat, which was reportedly carrying forty men at the time of the accident, did not stop after the accident occurred,said Bakri Abul Hassan, the head of Egypt’s main fishermen’s trade union, also adding that the accident happened between Ras Ghareb and El-Tor on the Sinai Peninsula.
