The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) on Monday said the Nigerian Maritime University (NMU), Okerenkoko, Delta, would soon start academic session at its temporary site, Kurutie, Delta state.

The Director-General of NIMASA, Dr Patrick Akpobolokemi, made the disclosure in an interview with newsmen in Lagos.
Akpobolokemi said construction of the university had been an ongoing process, adding that developments in terms of physical structures were growing continuously.

He said, “For us, we have acquired a temporary site for the university to take off. There are other requirements that are being fulfilled that we are processing.
