The Art|Energy was back again this year, and this time Zircon Marine brought it to the city of Geneva, Switzerland. The Art|Energy was held on the 4th November 2015 at the Nest galleries.

This Year, Mocoh S.A, an oil distribution, logistics and trading company with an international presence, partnered with Zircon Marine to bring you this event. The event featured Peju Alatise, an internationally acclaimed, Nigerian based mixed-medium artist who headlined the exhibition.

The Art|Energy is a part of Zircon Marine’s corporate social responsibility under the umbrella of The IK Okoye Foundation. The Art|Energy primary aim is to position Africa, especially Nigeria as a destination for trade and investment while discovering and showcasing the continent’s finest art works. This annual exhibition is used as a platform to showcase the creative arts of Africa, celebrate talented artists both renowned and unknown as well as promote links between the energy sector and the visual arts in the continent of Africa.

Peju Alatise pieces truly breathes life into Art, with vibrant colors, textures and styles. Peju produced astonishing pieces of art which attracted an array of people from different backgrounds including art lovers, artists and art collectors, who gathered to enjoy, discuss in inner depth and purchase Peju’s pieces.

The reception, attended by over 200 attendees with a love for art, was also a networking opportunity for Geneva based players in the oil trading industry.

Zircon Marine shall continue to promote African art to an international market through its Art|Energy initiative February 2016 in London, United Kingdom.
